You And That Dress!

You’ve spent so much time finding that dress, or maybe it was the first one you tried on, but you fell in love with it either way. Maybe it’s the way it flows as you swish back and forth, or it’s the perfect hug it gives your curves. Whatever the reason, you and this dress are made for each other. This session is completely designed to capture your beautiful self in that dress looking exquisite and stunning – just as you’ll be when you walk down that center aisle.

We’ll work together to choose a location that perfectly compliments your sense of style, personality and of course that dress. Don’t worry about how to pose for the camera or what to do with those hands – I’ll guide you and give you several tips to help you look your best. As for the finished product, you’ll get what I call a session book with selected images we’ll collaborate on. This 8×8 linen-covered book is a great way to view the finished images we created. Still need convincing to climb in that dress and smile for the camera? Then do it for momma – you know she’s gonna make you do it anyway : )

My Approach

Bring along the girls for this shoot if you’d like. It’s always useful to have a group of close friends telling you how beautiful you are while someone points a camera at you. For this session, I’m a little more hands on. You know how they say the camera adds ten pounds? It’s true! That camera is a dirty liar though. I’ll help to pose you so we take off twenty pounds (not that you need it, but hey, why not!). I’m still trying to capture natural poses and posture, but it’s definitely more directed during the bridal session. These sessions usually last about two hours and we can use multiple locations if you’d like. One last tip – plan on treating yourself to your favorite meal or dessert after this session. You’re going to be putting in some work for these images! Seriously, grab some Cheesecake Factory or Orange Leaf!
